Josh Jordan is the founder and chief strategist of Make Me Social, LLC, a full service social marketing firm based in St. Augustine, FL and Baltimore, MD.
In his position as chief strategist, Josh is responsible for the company’s leadership teams and business units, maintaining the company’s vision, growth plan and providing strategic direction for clients as they continue to further embrace and grow their online marketing initiatives.
In the past three years, the team has worked with brands and personalities such as Jimmie Johnson, Medifast, Easypress Technologies, BlueCross, E! Entertainment, the PGA Tour, McCormick, Global X Funds, T Rowe Price, and provided outsourced social marketing services to numerous other agencies and marketing services firms to support their large brand engagements for everything from theatrical releases to automotive manufacturers.
Starting with The Forum, an online e-zine he founded and built from scratch in 1997 while at Penn State, Josh has spent the majority of his career blending his passion for people, technology and community development to create real relationships for brands and their message.
In 1999, Mr. Jordan leveraged his hands-on experience in online community development to build and market community platforms to the newspaper industry – helping newspapers take print content and move it online, including integration with interactive features such as community forums and threaded chat.
As a part of an acquisition in 2001, Josh served as Director of Technology and Business Development for Sonic Factory, adding voice recognition and text to speech technology to community portals to add further value to the audience experience. He followed that up with the launch of MailNow and MatrixDM, two platforms that helped further connect brands and their message to highly targeted audiences.
Just prior to starting MMS, Josh served as Director of Digital and Director of Client Services at Harte-Hanks, a full service direct marketing company, working with clients across verticals such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, financial services, nonprofits, insurance, automotive and retail. He also served as a member of the President’s Office of Customer and Revenue Innovation focusing on enterprise accounts, blending capabilities and ideas across the organization to provide the best result for clients.
